A shopping centre gets retail therapy. Hawaiian, the managers of Noranda Shopping Village, commissioned Tim Davies Landscaping to review the centre’s exterior presentation. TDL collaborated with the marketing team to develop a master plan with staged implementation as part of an upgrade to address not just visual appeal but also parking, disabled access and security. TDL’s scope of works spanned everything from colour schemes for buildings to accessibility, carpark realignment and lighting to the transplantation of iconic trees and creation of entry statements. Civil engineering issues such as drainage were central to the solution. TDL also designed and built alfresco areas for individual tenants including weatherproof shade canopies. TDL’s intelligent project management completed the project with minimal disruption to retail traders and customers.
