Planting the seed of sustainable ideals. At Evermore Estate in Baldivis, Satterley commissioned Tim Davies Landscaping to create a landscape that would help sell the developer’s environmental ethos as well as the display home on show. TDL liaised with the client and builder to ensure that the house and garden would work together to achieve the energy efficiency and water conservation goals in the design guidelines. The solution achieves a funky, modern aesthetic using innovative green ideas such as drought-tolerant native species, synthetic turf, a rain garden constructed to filter water run-off from the garage roof and LED garden lighting to reduce energy consumption.
